Songs with political messages/meanings?

for history, I have to bring in a song that represents political, social or economic beliefs. I have thought of the Beatles or Bob Dylan but I can't pick a good song. Any suggestions would be appreciated! thanks!!

4 dead in Ohio by Crosby Stills Nash and young. Its a song about 4 peaceful protestors who were killd by the Ohio National Guard. The were protesting the U.S. invasion of Combodia.





Also try The Hurricane by Bob Dylan. Rubin "The Hurricane" Carter was a promiceing boxer who was falsely inmrisoned for murder by racist cops. Dylan Recorded a song for him.





Sunday Bloody Sunday By U2..its about a massaccer in Northern Ireland.

Reply:i had an assignment like this a few weeks ago, but we had to get songs from the vietnam era. but yea mr. president is a good tune though but just google like vietnam era songs and i got tons of lists and most, if not all b/c some are pretty pointless, are realated to politics
