A GOOD SONG FOR A GIRL (me) TO SING FOR A TALENT SHOW..with my friend playing her acoustic in the background??

I'm a female. there's a talent show coming up soon at my school and I want to sing a good song, that my friend can play chords, [or tabs] to on her guitar while I sing.





music I'd be willing to sing:


I like dark, music with really deep meanings, but when sung, don't sound like dark songs.


I like indie as well, like Death Can for Cutie is a good band, I also like Darling Violetta...





I'm open to songs that aren't dark, I also like Nellie McKay, and like the Ditty Bops....





although I'm IN LOVE with screamo, and metal...I'm NOT going to be screaming my head off, simply becasue it's a physical impossibility for myself.

Reply:Well, no music will be good for you to sing to acoustic. The music you wanna sing is whack! No ones ever heard of Nellie Mckay or ditty bops. Well, at least not anyone i know.
