Does Good Charlotte put religious meanings in their songs?

it kinda sounds like...some of them do...

like the song

"the day that i die"

the chorus.... is

"can you feel the cold tonight

it sets in, but its alright

when darkness falls im letting go

all alone but i feel fine"

and the pre-chorus is

"the happiest day of my life, is the day that i die."

it just seems like theres a religious meaning in there somewhere

then the end

"did i live it right, i hope i lived it right"

sounds like...this song hes saying in the end he hopes he lived his life right to gain entry into heaven with God?

maybe im just stupid?

someone tell me stuff lol

Does Good Charlotte put religious meanings in their songs?
they always thank god and r so greatful for what they have, its always on their cd credits

when i think of good charlotte i think they r nice boys, and niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice to, mmmmmmmmmmmm
Reply:"The River" sounds sorta religious. Joel sings about being a sinner, and wanting to be delivered..I dunno, maybe I'm stupid too =p
Reply:In some songs theres a religpus menning but that in there old stuff now there like techno pop sounding
Reply:I dont think good charlotte writes their own music.
Reply:i think "the river" is religious and joel is a christian.
Reply:sometimes. like in their song the river.heres some of the lyrics

Baptized in the river

I've seen a vision of my life

And I wanna be delivered

In the city was a sinner

I've done a lot of things wrong

But I swear I'm a believer

Like the prodigal son

I was out on my own

Now I'm trying to find my way back home

Baptized in the river

I'm delivered

What are some of the best hotels
