most rock songs have meanings beyond whats being said. like blue octobers "into the ocean" but do all of them have hidden meanings?

I think all songs have many meanings. It is you who can decide what is the meaning of the song you are listening to. It all depends of the mood you are in or what you are going through. You will also realize that the meaning of one song can change for you over time, through different periods of your life.





Are these meanings hidden? You are probably just not looking in their direction at this very moment.

Reply:It really depends on the listener...everyone is different in the way they interpet the meaning of songs. Some can find two means some find one and some people find no meaning at all...it depends on the person who is listening and what they are listening too.
