i like a lot of songs, because of their catchy melodies, but i can't quite comprehend the lyrics, where can i find their meanings?
Help! where can i find the explanations/meanings of the songs i like listening to?
You know, you may be able to check the websites that one of the other responders gave you, but I also would encourage you to think about what the song means to YOU. When I write songs, I write them for myself, but I also realize that their meanings can be open to interpretation. You can use someone else's suggestion as a guide, but decide for yourself what the song MEANS to YOU. You'll probably find a lot of musicians who tell you to find your own meaning...you'll also find many who may give you an idea of what they intended when the wrote the song...but don't discount how it feels to you.
Comprehending the lyrics may mean looking up what the song's lyrics are, and then deciding for yourself. Good luck, and enjoy the fun!
