Which one..
What clean song has many meanings and symbolisms in it?
"Hemispheres" by Rush is easily my favorite work of symbolism. Neil Peart (Rush's writer/drummer) is a genius. Look into Rush if you want some deep symbolism. Greatest band of all time. Or at least one of the most intelligent, next to Dream Theater. (John Petrucci = God! j/k)
BTW, all very clean.
Yeah, The Wall is great, too. David Gilmour... another god. Pink Floyd revolves around symbolism.
Reply:listen to pink floyd's the wall, they say s**t two times but thats it, in two songs, so exclude those. or better yet, rent the movie under the same title, then go to http://www.thewallanalysis.com/ for help on recognizing the symbols and meanings.
Reply:anna nalick songs are great for that stuff... breathe (2am), wreck of the day, citadel
Reply:if you happy and you know it...lol. I say this because it symbolizes the problem with Prozac....too happy...why cant we be sad
Reply:I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for or not, but one of my favorite songs by the shins is "a comet appears" and I automatically thought of this song when I saw this question. Even if this song doesn't help you in your quest to find meaning and symbolism amongst the dead lyrics of today, you should download it, it's a pretty amazing song
band: The shins
song: A Comet Appears
album: Wincing the Night Away
