It's just a ditty about sex. Melaine's rollerskates represent her vagina, whilst the brand new key represents a penis.
I'm totally serious about that.

Reply:Brand New Key...Melanie , its no Janis, and its referring to the key of a pair of roller skates, back in the day all roller skates had keys to tighten and adjust the skate to your foot.
